Summer
Summer is a season of abundance, full, warm, and generous. In this piece, I’ve used bright colours and rich textures to echo the ripeness of the natural world. Everything feels open, stretched wide to the sun. It’s a time of fruitfulness, energy, and joy — a kind of celebration of what the earth can offer. A big ‘Ta-da!’ from nature, and a reminder to take it in while it lasts.
(Foraged plant fibres, rattan, paper pulp clay, cardboard, paper twine, wire, natural pigments, found wood, water-based paints, unfired clay)
